A home assessment is a plan or guide to help you create a safer home environment. They start by gathering basic information about you and your home through a telephone interview. Then they will schedule an in-person home consultation to do a home assessment. A home safety assessment will be conducted by walking around the exterior and interior rooms of your home.
After completing the home safety assessment, they will go back to the office and put a plan together for your review.
You’ll get to decide what you want to do quickly and what things can wait until your budget allows you to complete those next steps.
