Protect Your Family Series!
Our show centers around how to prepare your family and community for a city/county wide emergency and the resources at your ready!
The Knoxville-Knox County Emergency Management Agency is a joint City-County governmental office under the Chief elected officials (Mayor and County Mayor) of the City of Knoxville and Knox County.
The Knoxville-Knox County Emergency Management Agency (KEMA) is the central point of contact for local government for all major emergencies and disasters. KEMA works in partnership with local state and federal agencies as well as industry and volunteer organizations.
Alan’s team researches, revises, prints and distributes the Knoxville-Knox County Basic Emergency Plan. Assist with the development and implement a continuity of operations plan for City and County government. These plans will enable our local government to operate sufficiently during inclement weather or other disaster situations.
