Custom Concrete & Design, LLC (C2D) is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Owners Ballard Hall and Stephen Bryant are both Combat Veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. From the time they were small children, they learned that success is really measured by one’s actions and what they do for other people. C2D was started for one main reason: to build a better community. Not only does C2D do this by making communities look nice, but also by allowing our employees to live much better lives through acceptable wages, benefits, and support from management. C2D uses their footprint to change the community by changing lives within the community.
Ballard spent more than eight-years in the Marine Corps. While serving he perfected the art of Operations Management, Small Unit Leadership, and Logistics Management. Ballard spent several years working as an analyst and security officer in the Intelligence Community. He holds a BA in Security Management from American Military University; he is currently pursuing an MBA with the same university. Ballard is the Chief Executive Officer for C2D. Ballard is married to his best friend, Mariah. They have two amazing kids, Ballard Jr. and Miriam. When Ballard is not working he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and learning something new.
Stephen has a total of seven-years in the U.S. Armed Forces, and counting. Stephen started with the Marine Corps as an engineer. After he got out of the Marine Corps, he took his skills to the commercial sector, with companies like Lockheed Martin and Boeing. After that venture, Stephen attended and graduated from the Universal Technical Institute. Stephen also hold a business degree from Virginia College. He is the Chief Financial Officer for C2D and manages all of the work sites as of now. Stephen is married to his best friend also, Danielle. They have two silly boys, Dom and Sawyer. When Stephen is not working he enjoys auto-mechanics and spending time with his family.
